"Inception" won the Oscar for sound mixing at the 83rd Academy Awards on Sunday night. Lora Hirschberg, Gary A. Rizzo and Ed Novick received the award for their work on the Christopher Nolan film. The trio was nominated for the same award for "The Dark Knight," also directed by Nolan, two years ago. "Inception" was competing against "The King's Speech," "Salt," "The Social Network" and "True Grit."
